Day 1: Manali Local Sightseeing

Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, the representative of Kiran World Tours will warmly welcome you and assist you on your scenic drive to Gangtok (1,437 meters), the beautiful capital city of Sikkim. Surrounded by lush green hills and breathtaking Himalayan views, the journey itself offers a refreshing experience. Upon reaching Gangtok, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey.

In the evening, you may enjoy a leisurely walk along the famous MG Marg, known for its vibrant atmosphere, local shops, cafes, and beautiful surroundings. Later, return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2: Gangtok (Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir)

After a delicious breakfast, proceed for an exciting excursion to the beautiful Tsomgo Lake and the famous Baba Harbhajan Mandir. Located at an altitude of around 12,400 ft (3,750 meters), Tsomgo Lake is approximately a 3-hour drive from Gangtok through winding roads and breathtaking alpine mountain landscapes.

Surrounded by snow-covered mountains and mesmerizing natural beauty, Tsomgo Lake is considered one of the most sacred lakes in Sikkim. The lake changes its beauty with every season — remaining frozen during winter and blooming with colorful flowers during spring and summer, creating a magical atmosphere for visitors.

Continue your journey to Baba Harbhajan Mandir, situated at an altitude of around 13,200 ft (4,000 meters). This sacred shrine is dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, a brave Indian Army soldier who is highly respected by locals and soldiers alike. After sightseeing, return to Gangtok and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Gangtok (Full day sightseeing tour)

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok with Kiran World Tours. Begin your day with a visit to the famous Ganesh Tok, a beautiful hilltop temple offering breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic Mount Kanchenjunga and the surrounding valleys. Continue to the scenic Banjhakri Waterfall, a peaceful picnic spot surrounded by lush greenery and natural beauty.

Next, visit the renowned Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, which showcases the rich heritage of Tibetan culture, Buddhist traditions, ancient manuscripts, and rare artifacts. Enjoy an exciting ride on the Gangtok Ropeway, where you can witness spectacular aerial views of the mountains, valleys, and the vibrant city below.

The sightseeing tour also includes visits to Bakthang Waterfalls, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Tashi View Point, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Enchey Monastery, and the colorful Flower Show Exhibition Centre, each offering a unique glimpse into the natural beauty and cultural richness of Gangtok.

Day 4: Gangtok – Pelling (120 km, 5.5 hours)

After breakfast, proceed towards the beautiful hill town of Pelling with Kiran World Tours. The scenic journey from Gangtok to Pelling is filled with mesmerizing views of lush green valleys, tea gardens, charming villages, winding mountain roads, and breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, making the drive a memorable experience in itself.

Nestled amidst pine forests and serene surroundings, Pelling is one of the most picturesque destinations in Sikkim. The town is famous for its spectacular views of the snow-capped Kanchenjunga range, peaceful atmosphere, waterfalls, and ancient monasteries that reflect the rich Buddhist heritage of the region.

Upon arrival in Pelling, check in to your hotel and relax after the long but scenic drive of approximately 5 to 6 hours. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, enjoying the peaceful mountain ambiance and beautiful surroundings. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pelling.

Day 5: Pelling (Full day local sightseeing)

Prepare to tour Pelling’s local sights after breakfast. Start with the Kanchenjunga waterfalls, which will undoubtedly refresh you with their cascading water and lush surrounds. Then visit the beautiful Sewaro rock garden, which is lush with flora. Darap Valley, a picturesque hideaway, is next on the list. Take a break for lunch before continuing your tour to Pema Yangtse monastery, Helipad Ground, Rimbi waterfalls, Khecheopalri holy Lake, and Rabdentse Ruins. In the evening, return to the hotel and remain the night.

Day 6: Pelling – Darjeeling (73 kilometres, 3 hours and 37 minutes)

Drive to Darjeeling after breakfast. Although the road is not particularly smooth, you will pass through beautiful green gardens, rivers, picturesque villages, and old bridges along the way.

Arrive at the Darjeeling hotel, check in, and stay the night.

Day 7: Darjeeling (Full day local sightseeing)

Begin your tour early in the morning (about 4 a.m.) by driving to Tiger Hill (2590 m) for breathtaking views of the dawn over Mt. Kanchenjunga. It is the hill station’s highest peak. On your way back, stop through Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. After a hearty breakfast, head to the Japanese Temple, a well-known Buddhist temple that features traditional Japanese architecture. Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda, and Chitrey Tea Garden are among the other attractions that will be explored (outer view). Take a stroll around Mall Road in the evening.

Day 8: Darjeeling - New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP)/Bagdogra Airport (IXB) (88 km/3 hours)

Check out of the hotel after breakfast and we’ll transport you back to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP)/Bagdogra Airport (IXB) - Gangtok with memories to last a lifetime!
