Itinerary (5N / 6D)

Day 1: Arrival + Local Sightseeing

Upon arrival at Srinagar, the representative of Kiran World Tours will warmly welcome you to the beautiful lake city of Kashmir. After check-in to your traditional houseboat, begin your sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Visit the famous Mughal Gardens including Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), and Chashme Shahi Garden, known for their stunning beauty and historical significance. You will also visit the sacred Shankaracharya Temple, located on a hilltop offering panoramic views of Srinagar city and Dal Lake.

In the evening, enjoy a peaceful Shikara ride on the famous Dal Lake, surrounded by breathtaking mountains and floating gardens. Later, return to your houseboat and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Nishat Bagh: Known as the “Garden of Pleasure,” Nishat Bagh is the second-largest Mughal Garden in Kashmir, situated on the eastern banks of Dal Lake. Built in 1633 AD by Asaf Khan, the brother of Mughal Empress Noor Jahan, the garden is famous for its beautiful terraced lawns, fountains, and scenic views.

Shalimar Bagh: Shalimar Bagh is the largest and most famous Mughal Garden in Srinagar. Built by Mughal Emperor Jahangir in 1619 for his beloved wife Noor Jahan, the garden is also known as the “Garden of Delight.” Its beautifully designed terraces, flowing water channels, and historic Chini Khanas make it a major attraction.

Chashme Shahi: The smallest yet one of the most charming Mughal Gardens in Srinagar, Chashme Shahi is renowned for its natural spring water believed to have medicinal properties. This beautiful garden was built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his son Dara Shikoh.

Srinagar: The summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir, Srinagar is famous for its scenic beauty, peaceful lakes, traditional houseboats, Mughal Gardens, and vibrant local culture. The city is also home to popular attractions such as Dal Lake, Hazratbal Shrine, Pari Mahal, Hari Parbat Fort, and the unforgettable Shikara rides that make every Kashmir trip special.

Day 2: Srinagar- day excursion to Sonmarg (90 Kms)

Start your morning with a nutritious breakfast, leave the houseboat, and register at the Srinagar hotel. You will be going on a day trip to Sonmarg today. A representative will guide you to Sonmarg. It will be a journey where you can appreciate the stunning scenery of the hills. Sonmarg is referred to as the "Field of Gold." By extending your visit, you can experience horseback riding to Thajiwas Glacier. The ice mass remains blanketed with snow all year round. Mountains blanketed in snow all around create a sense of being in a different realm.

Sonmarg is referred to as the Gateway to Ladakh. Ensure you preserve these lovely moments for your memory. In the evening, travel to Srinagar and return to your hotel for an overnight stay. Sonmarg: Known as the “Meadow of Gold”, it showcases the stunning beauty of nature.

Thajiwas Glacier is the main draw in Sonmarg, accessible by trekking or riding a pony. In addition to this, Sonmarg serves as the starting point for numerous treks to secluded villages such as Naranag and to alpine lakes like Vishansar and Krishansar. It is a perfect spot for both trout fishing and river rafting.

Day 3: Srinagar to Gulmarg excursion (55 Kms)

Start your day with a nutritious breakfast. Today, you will embark on a day trip to Gulmarg. Get ready for another journey. A representative will guide you to Gulmarg. Gulmarg features the Gondola ride, renowned as Asia's largest cable car project. The 08-minute ride on the Gulmarg Gondola will guide you through vibrant shepherd huts to the lower slope of the Apharwat Peak. Following a long day, you will be taken back to your hotel in Srinagar for an overnight stay. Gulmarg: Gulmarg ranks among the leading hill stations in India and is primarily recognized for hosting the world's highest golf course. The primary draw is the Gulmarg Gondola, recognized as Asia's largest cable car project. The stunning location in Kashmir is also very well-known for skiing and snowboarding during the winter months

Day 4: Srinagar to Pahalgam (95 KMS)

Start your morning with a nutritious breakfast, and check out from the Srinagar hotel. You will be taking a day trip to Pahalgam today. Pahalgam is referred to as “the valley of Shepherds.” Reach Pahalgam and check into the hotel. Following lunch, stroll around and capture photos of the stunning mountain vistas. Dinner and overnight accommodation at a hotel in Pahalgam. Pahalgam: (2133 mts) is among the most favored tourist destinations in Kashmir and a leading choice for the Indian Film Industry. While traveling, explore Saffron fields, the Awantipur ruins (an ancient temple of Lord Vishnu constructed by King Awantiverma over 1100 years ago), the picturesque countryside, and numerous rice paddies.

Day 5: Pahalgam sightseeing

Start your morning with a nutritious breakfast. Today you will explore the attractions in Pahalgam. Explore the picturesque and rugged valley of Chandanwadi, the snow point (about 14km from Pahalgam), and savor the Pony ride (personal expenses). Following a day of enjoyment, you will be taken to the hotel for an overnight stay. Important: In Pahalgam, external vehicles are prohibited for sightseeing purposes. Only local taxis are permitted to drive around in Pahalgam. All external vehicles will be permitted to provide pick-up and drop-off only at the hotel

Day 6: Pahalgam to Srinagar airport Departure

After a healthy breakfast check out from the hotel. Our representative will take you to Srinagar Airport to board your flight for your onward journey. Take with you most beautiful and wonderful memories. Important Information: Due to strict security, you are requested to leave from the hotel at least 4 hours before the departure time. You will have to pass 4 security barriers before reaching the airport. This often leads to long traffic jams right outside the airport.
